Mind Body Sports Psychology supports individuals of all ages in connecting, building confidence, and leading meaningful lives warmly, empathetically, and in a relaxed manner. We believe that the therapeutic interaction itself is what makes therapy successful. We promote an atmosphere where people feel safe and secure, heard, respected, and cared for.
Mind Body Sports Psychology have specialised expertise in elite performance, working with athletes of all ages across a spectrum of mental health, wellness, and performance.
Mind-Body Connection
We believe the mind and the body are not two separate entities. Physical health and emotional health are intimately intertwined in what’s known as the BioPsycho Social paradigm — the mind-body connection.
The mind-body connection is an integral part of our mental health and wellbeing, and as such integral to the way we approach our therapy.
Evidence- Based Theraputic Approaches
Mind Body Sports services draw from a wide range of methodologies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and Positive Psychology. All sessions are tailored to suit individual needs and goals.

While understanding what is important to her clients, Tamara will take the time to learn about what matters most to them inspire and equip them to navigate the joys, challenges, and possibilities of life.
